In reading our products page, remember to note any questions you may want to ask in the event this information we have provided does not satisfy your points of interest.
In the field of antique radio cabinet manufacturing, we are equipped to duplicate any molding or part for any wood radio cabinet.
In offering this,.. you may simply send a profile drawing with the actual measurements you require. However, it is always best to send the old part if possible, especially if it is an unusual one. If there is not enough of the old part remaining for us to gauge the new piece, we can go by specific precise measurements with a good detailed image and come very close.
All situations are easily dealt with individually and there is no piece that we cannot produce. All we ask for is patience and time. It may take several email meetings or phone calls for us to structure your order in a way that the end result meets your needs.
All parts will require days and some even weeks to manufacture and make ready for shipping.
If the part is available (in stock) it will ship within one to two days of payment, unless specifically stated otherwise.

These strips are made from solid walnut. Random lengths are provided up to at least 1/4 of an inch in excess of the required 10-5/8 inches. Packaged in sets of (3) three only. shipping is included.

Book matched burl, full cut ready to assemble,
Inner speaker surround insert included
Veneer colors, light and dark tones may vary depending on availability at the time of purchase.
Panel is veneered and sanded to 220 grit and sealed inside and out with one coat of sanding sealer to protect from moisture.
Panel measures 18-1/8" X 13" X 1/4"
Note: If trimming of height measurement is necessary, must be taken from the bottom only.
Side edges may require some slight beveling to fit snug against the existing upright moldings.

Unfinished
Sanded to 220 grit and sealed with one coat of sanding sealer for protection against moisture. Inside is finished in Zenith Blue. Also comes with chassis grommets.
"L" brackets are not included.Note: Upper trim strips are shipped uninstalled with unfinished cabinets, so color toning application and sanding of the top may be easily worked.

Walton Cabinet Kits
All wood parts required to build your own cabinet are included
in this package. All parts are sanded, however are in random lengths for you to cut or miter and assemble.
Once these kits are ordered , all sales are final , and the assembly project is solely your responsibility.All Richmond Designs Inc cabinets are metal tagged for duplication reference.

Reference to wood cabinet duplication and it's finish only
all other parts are not included in this priceAll our finishes from a Satin to Semi-Gloss patina. However, we can create any finish you would prefer your cabinet to display. We can offer you an eggshell finish or we can apply a high gloss.
However, due to my respect for the historical values of these fine old sets,..I do have my limitations.
Inside of cabinet is finished in Zenith Blue and chassis grommets are also included.
*All finished cabinets come with a bottle of our fine cream polish*

Duplication Wood Knobs
We duplicate wood knobs for all cabinets. All of our knobs are made of hardwoods such as walnut , mahogany, maple, beech and many other species.
All individual knobs start at $20.00 and sets range according to style and number.
All sets made when ordered.
Allow 8-10 days before sets are ready for shipping.
